Everything you need to know about Dhermi

In Dhermi you will find everything you can imagine for a tourist place. It doesn't matter your age, young or not, you will have endless fun. Dhermi beach, for example, is among the largest and most frequented in the Ionian Sea. The coast is very clean and clear and the surrounding greenery is something special. Restaurants, bars and accommodation points in this area are available to those who want to try seafood and local refreshing drinks with the most spectacular views in front.

In general, the village of Dhermi is a rugged terrain, divided into two parts.

The upper part with the settlements where the Saint Mary's Monastery is located, the road to which is paved with beautiful stones and the climb takes 15 minutes on foot from the main road.

For those who like old buildings, there is also the church of Saint Stephen, which has traces from the Byzantine period. Meanwhile, the houses are built in the style of towers. There are also the colorful flowers hanging over the doors and windows of almost every house, which will make you stop for a "selfie".

The night life is then a pleasure in itself with music in the bars on the beach and beyond.

Dhermi also offers depth for all of you who want to dive in and explore a bit of the magical underwater world.

Gjipe Beach on the other side is absolutely epic. It is part of Gjipe Canyon, where you will have to walk about 2 km from the main road to get there, for a different adventure. Meanwhile, experienced swimmers can rent a kayak to get their adrenaline pumping.

You don't find the Pirate's cave only in the book, it is hidden in the Hill of Saint Todri, and it is 30 meters long with touristic and historical values. At its entrance, it is divided into two parts by a rocky block, where we should mention that it can only be reached by sea.

But this is not the only one. Along the coast there are several other stunning ones to visit.

So in Dhermi we recommend you to stay for at least three days, to have a vacation in the full sense of the word. So don't wait any longer, the best time for this adventure is now.
